Lumastora was born in the valley of the sun, deep within the sun bleached deserts of Arizona. In essence, Lumastora is a metaphorical soundscape or play between lightness and darkness; its a story of light. Sun drenched and bathed in nostalgia, the music is both beautiful and haunting, and an acute conjurer of memory. When listening to Lumastora’s first release,“Eve of Light” one can't help but feel consumed by its radiance and warmth. The rich layering of guitars and strings lull us into a calm safety, like the best parts of childhood. This warmth becomes physical and a trigger or pathway to our memories. Then momentum develops, with its speed and force, and like the flow of a river it carries us further down stream. It sometimes carries us close to the edge, and gives us a glimpse of the jagged cliffs below. But it never lets go, it keeps us safe and always surrounds us within its embrace.

Lumastora is solely Jed Flora. He currently lives and writes music in Phoenix Arizona.
